Totally inspired by Michelle Blade and totally sick of staring at pixels, I decided to break out the watercolors and rubber cement.
My theory was that the cement could work as a mask, to be painted over and then rubbed off. And it (mostly) worked.
It was very messy. Maybe if I’m a bit more careful removing the cement next time…
And here’s what I did next. Just wasting some time doodling and coloring…
let’s call it “johnny dropping”
…unable to articulate his needs to the carnival workers, Johnny finds himself holding a hot dog instead of a telephone.
